Criminal charges pursue "Bab Darna"
The investigating judge of the Injunction Court of The First Instance in Casablanca, earlier this week, raised his hand on the file of what is known as the "Bab Darna" case, after it was found through the preparatory investigation that he supervised, for nearly two months, that the acts attributed to the accused in the file are criminal and not misdemeanours, and the judge based on Explaining his decision on Chapter 215 of the Criminal Code, which states that "if the investigating judge considers that the acts are not his jurisdiction, he shall issue a non-jurisdictional order and retain every order that the investigating judge has issued against the accused with his executive power. The investigating judge refers within eight days from the issuance of this order to the Public Prosecutor's Office, and the follow-up and investigation procedures completed retain their legal effect."

In connection with the "Bab Darna" file, the management of "Samp Emo", the organization of Moroccan property exhibitions abroad, filed a lawsuit against the company for fraud, announcing the placement of a digital platform at the disposal of the victims of the company's fraud during the 2018 edition of the Brussels and Paris exhibitions.
